Profile

Dr. Nikhat Saba is Managing Partner at Legum, blending strategic litigation with regulatory and transactional expertise. She began her legal journey after earning her LL.B. from the University of Karachi and has since built a multifaceted practice. In civil and property disputes, she represents clients in complex ownership cases, boundary disagreements, and enforcement of contractual rights before the courts. Her family law practice covers guardianship applications, dissolution of marriage (including Khula and suits for restitution of conjugal rights), child-custody and maintenance proceedings, and domestic-violence litigation—always combining empathy with tenacious advocacy.

Beyond courtroom work, Dr. Saba advises on labour law compliance for employers and unions, navigates banking transactions and regulatory filings, and ensures foreign-exchange dealings comply with State Bank of Pakistan guidelines. Her corporate practice spans company incorporations, shareholder agreements, mergers & acquisitions, and governance structures.

An experienced educator, she has lectured at Jinnah University for Women and Government College for Women, Shahrah-e-Liaquat, mentoring future generations . As a member of the Karachi Bar Association and the Industrial Relations Advisors Association Karachi, Dr. Saba contributes to the profession both inside and outside the courtroom.
