Commemorating Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi ﷺ

Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi marks the birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. It is a day observed with reverence and reflection across Pakistan and throughout the world. Beyond tradition and festivity, the occasion is a reminder of values that transcend time: compassion, truth, fairness, and justice.

The Prophet ﷺ emphasized that justice is the foundation of a just and peaceful society, and that it must be upheld even when difficult. The Qur’an states:

“Stand out firmly for justice, as witnesses to Allah, even though it be against yourselves, or your parents, or your kin.”
(Holy Qur’an 4:135)

In explanation of this principle, the Prophet ﷺ said:

“The most virtuous struggle is to speak a word of truth in the presence of an unjust ruler.”
(Sunan Abū Dāwūd, Hadith 4344)

These timeless teachings remind us that justice requires courage, impartiality, and accountability — qualities that continue to inspire efforts to strengthen the rule of law today.
