Youm-e-Takbeer marks the events of 28 May 1998 and is observed as a day of national resolve. We recognise the work of the scientists, engineers, and others whose service shaped this chapter of Pakistan’s history.

The occasion also invites reflection on the responsibilities that accompany national strength: peace, security, lawful governance, and the welfare of the people.

In 2026, Youm-e-Takbeer coincides with the Eid ul Azha holidays, and our office shall remain closed on 28 May as part of that closure.
