For clients and visitors who place particular importance on privacy, Legum Law Firm’s website is now available through dedicated destinations on the I2P network. All eight language editions are accessible over I2P, and our Legal Resources website has its own destination. This provides an additional way to read about the firm, explore our practice areas and consult the legislation we host.
I2P, the Invisible Internet Project, is a decentralized, privacy-focused network that routes communications through encrypted tunnels. Our existing HTTPS websites and Tor onion services remain available, allowing visitors to choose the access method that best suits their circumstances.
The I2P versions are configured for reading public information. Visitor analytics and automatically loaded third-party content are excluded, and WordPress administration and login pages are unavailable through I2P. No account or login is required to read the public material.
To visit an I2P destination, first install and configure I2P or use an appropriately configured I2P-capable browser. Each language has its own permanent Base32 destination, listed below. The language switcher connects translated pages through their I2P versions, while links between the main website and Legal Resources support continued browsing within I2P.
Human-readable .i2p names are address-book aliases rather than conventional DNS registrations. legum.i2p has been submitted for publication, but availability may vary while address books propagate. The language and Legal Resources aliases will be submitted after the parent name has propagated. The Base32 destinations below are the permanent addresses and can be used immediately. These services are not a confidential client portal or a guarantee of complete anonymity. External websites have their own privacy practices, and sending an email or making a telephone call is a separate interaction. Visitors wishing to discuss sensitive information should first contact the firm to agree on an appropriate communication channel.
